Deontologie religiose, cultura economica e rapporti contrattuali. Riflessioni a proposito dei processi di negoziazione
Anello G.
While Italian and Islamic economic and legal systems may appear to be so different as to be inconsonant, recent studies in religion and economics offer a new perspective. Particularly in light of globalization trends, contractual negotiations within civil law illuminate some interesting possibilities for interaction and creative negotiation between these seemingly opposed worlds. This paper will
consider how an intercultural legal approach can yield new meaning and tangible solutions in cases where economic and religious issues intersect. Specifically the paper will:
i. review recent key arguments within the literature focused on economics and religions,
ii. assess several legal cases in which economic and religious interests interact,
iii. analyze Islamic economic models, taken as a whole, in search of insights they can offer to the Italian legal system.
